We are a talented and experience staff including professional engineers, professional land surveyors, professional landscape architects, field crews, CADD technicians, and an integral administrative staff.
Why We Need You
We are kicking off a new division and adding Geotechnical Services to our scope of work! With an already robust workload has led to us searching for new team members to help continue the growth and success of our firm! We are seeking an experienced, motivated, organized, and driven Drill Rig Crew Helper for our office in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
With the proper work ethic and skillset this position will eventually evolve into a Lead Driller role, which will consist of leading and managing a drill crew. If you wish to pursue a career with a growing company that has very strong roots in the industry, we’d love to hear from you!
What You Have
- High School Diploma, any higher education is a plus
- Prior background / knowledge in the geotechnical field preferred
- Strong Work Ethic
- Leadership Qualities
- Ability to Independently Work
- Multitask Management Skills
- Availability to Travel within Wisconsin
- Fluctuating Works Hours – Early Morning /Afterhour /Overnights
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid drivers license and clean driving history
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist Lead Driller in performing drilling operations to include but not limited to:
- Adding and removing drill rod
- Removing auger cuttings from boring area
- Abandoning borings
- Boring layout
- Shoot boring elevations
- Log and classify soils (will train)
