UW Marshfield – Everett Roehl STEM Center

Project Overview

Point of Beginning provided design and landscape architecture services for the award-winning construction of the Everett Roehl STEM Center.

The project was divided into two predetermined phases, totaling approximately $6 million in construction costs. Phase I included the development of the Everett Roehl STEM Center and Phase I included renovating the existing Aldo Leopold Science building.

The 17,000 sf, two-story, Everett Roehl STEM Center on the University of Marshfield/Wood County campus was chosen as a top-50 project in 2017 by The Daily Reporter.

Project Overview

This project consisted of providing survey and design services for the reconstruction of the entrance ways to a variety of dormitories located on the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point campus to correct existing drainage issues. The project also included new walkways and new utilities.

This project consisted of providing survey, design, construction administration services for the reconstruction of three parking lots located at the Wisconsin Rapids Campus. The existing parking lots demonstrated wear due to age and were brittle and failing. Point of Beginning provided services to regrade the parking lot to correct drainage issues, repaved the existing surface, and restripe.

Project Overview

This project consisted of providing survey and design services for the reconstruction of the Mid-State Technical College – Stevens Point campus. This project included providing Landscape Architecture services for the design of the front courtyard, which included a seating area and stamped concrete. This project also included the reconstruction of the facility’s main parking lot and sidewalks.

This project consisted of providing survey, design, and construction administration services for the construction of an outdoor Courtyard for the Marshfield Campus. The project consisted of a series of walkway and various seating areas for students. Point of Beginning also designed a Rain Garden intended for education purposes and to provide an area for outdoor classes.
